Meadow Cottage benefits from views of our fields and the surrouding countryside as well as Dartmoor on a clear day. A gate leads into the meadow where guests are free to wander around the farm with it's lake and riverside walks. In spring time there are often baby lambs skipping right outside the window. Meadow cottage is also the first and last cottage in Cornwall on the A388. Meadow cottage offers spacious accommodation with a new fitted kitchen/dining area. It has an electric cooker, fridge freezer, microwave, dishwasher,TV with freeview and separate utility room with washing machine and small tumble dryer.
The cottage offers a snooker room along with board games, other toys and a spare TV with freeview to keep you and children entertained on the occasional rainy day! The sitting room offers a woodburner for guests to keep warm if they are with us over Winter or Autumn. Logs are available from the farm or gather your own from our woodland. The sitting room has second TV with freeview.
Upstairs are a double room, a family room (one double and bunk beds) and a twin room. There is an upstairs bathroom with an overhead shower and bath and a downstairs bathroom with a shower.
There is ample parking outside the cottage and garden furniture and barbecue to enjoy the sunshine right by the meadow. Meadow Cottage also has an outside privvy to store surfboards or fishing tackle.
Fishing on the lake or on the river Tamar is free for two persons staying at the cottage. Bed linen is available to hire at £3.50 per person and pets are welcome by arrangement at £20 per dog. Electricity is by £1 meter (night storage heating free). |       |
